Cosmetic surgery for men is on the increase in the USA. For women though, there was a drop in the number of procedures carried out last year.
What surprised me first was the figure of 900,00 procedures that had been carried out on men. Then I noticed liposuction was top of the surgical list. Now why this should surprise me I'm not sure. Maybe it's because amongst my friends I know a few ladies who will admit to surgical enhancement of one variety or another but not a single man. Now I'm wondering why that may be.
Are my male friends more secretive, less concerned with looks or has the trend yet to make it across the pond and then 'up north'? I hope it's because they're happy in themselves. I wouldn't change any of them.
